Leonardo Bonucci has signed a contract extension at Juventus expected to keep him at the club until 2020.
The Bianconeri held a Press conference today to announce the defender’s new deal, and the Italy international reflected on the club’s current situation.
The Italy international has won four Serie A title since arriving in Turin in July 2010.
“It’s the start of a new era,” he said.
“I’m here to offer my years of experience to help those who have joined the club.
“We’ve maintained our strong spine. This is vital for us to build on and go in search of further successes.

“Juventus have a long-term plan. We’re seeing a new generation coming through with quality young players.
“Winning a fifth Scudetto in a row will be tough but we’ve got the right motivation to tackle this challenge.
“I’ve had plenty of great times in these past four years. The goal against Roma was an important moment.
“I was delighted when Juve came calling in 2010, just as I am now. It’s down to us to begin an even more successful era.”
Juve have won the Italian Scudetto in the past four seasons, with the 28-year-old’s strong partnership with the likes of Martin Caceres and Andrea Barzagli serving as a stronghold for the side.
