Moses, Mikel Shine In Chelsea Win

The Nigerian duo of John Obi Mikel and Victor Moses put up commendable displays as Chelsea ended their U.S tour with a morale-boosting win over European champions Barcelona late Tuesday evening.
In what was a battle of champions; the Blues for the EPL and the Catalan giants for La Liga , both teams had played out a 2-2 draw in regulation time before Jose Mourinho’s men claimed a 4-2 victory in the ensuing penalty kicks.
Eden Hazard gave Chelsea the lead with just 10 minutes into the game with a fine solo effort which, perhaps, justifies Mourinho’s lavish praise on the Belgian in the run-up to the thrilling match, before goals from Luis Suarez and Sandro turned the match on its head and Barcelona were in front.
However, poor goal-keeping from Jordi Masip allowed Gary Cahill to bravely equalise late on for the Blues, before Thibaut Courtois’ save allowed Loic Remy to score the winning penalty in the shoot-out.
Moses who scored in the last game against PSG was among the penalty takers and the Nigerian calmly buried his kick after Falcao had set the ball rolling with his masterpiece spot-kick.
